Biography

RecoMyst is a Canadian musical project dedicated to giving voice to the written word. Based in Canada, RecoMyst sets the poetry of literary figures to period-authentic music — transporting listeners to the era in which the poems were born. The debut release, If Dottie Sang, draws on the wit and heartache of Dorothy Parker, reimagined through the sounds of the 1920s through 1950s.
